An underwater painting exhibition? The idea may seem difficult to achieve but the association “Believe in Lebanon” has decided to take on the challenge. This summer, the NGO organizes an underwater exhibition and competition in Byblos, which involves placing reproductions of paintings by Lebanese artists under water and encouraging divers to take as many pictures as possible in their midst in order to win prizes.
By sponsoring this initiative, BMB is encouraging two main Lebanese sectors: Sports and Arts.
The competition was launched on Sunday June 4th at the medieval port of Jbeil where the civilian rescue unit of the Civil Defense made a special entrance to the port. The competition will end on July 31st.
